Erasmus charter for higher education 2021 – 2027

Explore the world! Studying or doing a practical internship abroad as part of the Erasmus+ program will help you to communicate better, expand your language and intercultural skills, and also acquire the necessary social skills – and these are the ones that are highly valued by employers.

The Erasmus+ program offers students with EU financial support:

Study stays

You have the opportunity to complete a study stay at a partner foreign institution for 2-12 months. The student thus has the opportunity to travel for a total of 24 months (+12 in doctoral studies) during the bachelor’s and master’s degree. There is also the possibility of repeated trips in each study cycle up to a maximum of 12 months.

Practical internships

You will gain foreign work experience in companies and institutions in the countries involved in the program
ERASMUS+. Practical internships lasting 2 – 12 months in companies and institutions involved in the program
Erasmus+. Graduates within one year of completing their studies can also go on a graduate internship
internship, the condition is to sign all contractual documentation with UCP before graduation.

Under what conditions can I participate in the program?

Eligibility Conditions – Summary:

First of all, it is necessary to have knowledge of the language in which the study will take place. Knowledge of the language is a basic prerequisite, because here the foreign language will serve as a tool to master the studies.

A bilateral ERASMUS+ contract was concluded between UCP and the partner institution. You can find the list of partner institutions here.

I am a student enrolled in an accredited study program at UCP (bachelor’s, master’s study program).

I have successfully completed at least the first year of bachelor’s studies. It doesn’t matter if it’s full-time or another form of study, but studying abroad is always full-time.

The duration of the study stay will be a minimum of 2 months (or one trimester), a maximum of 12 months – always within one academic year.

I will be a UCP student for the entire duration of my planned stay abroad (it is not possible to terminate or interrupt studies at UCP before going abroad or during the study stay).

What do I have to do?

Financing

The student will receive a grant depending on the country where they will study. The amount of financial support depends on the length of the study stay (number of months/days) abroad. This amount is a lump sum and may not cover all costs. It is necessary to count on financial participation.

There is an award of a so-called extraordinary grant for social reasons and also in the case of any health disadvantage (this can be, for example, a gluten-free diet, physical disadvantage) when it is possible to request, for example, a food allowance, the cost of traveling home during studies to see a doctor, if the student’s state of health requires an allowance for accommodation or transport to school (taxi, etc.) if the student has a physical limitation. For example, a single mother with a child can receive a special grant for support in placing the child in a kindergarten abroad if she decides to take the child with her.

The student submits an application for a scholarship increase to the coordinator of the Erasmus+ program at the UCP foreign department.

Erasmus+ language training

If you want to improve your knowledge of a foreign language, you have the option of taking language courses online before you go abroad or during your stay.

Before the start of the mobility and at the end of it, students have a mandatory online language level test.
