Why study this specialization?

This specialization is intended for those who want to get an overview of how tourism works at the regional and international level, who want to learn how to use the advent of e-Tourism to their advantage, or how to start a business in the area. Courses within Tourism are taught by experts in practice, such as Ing. Mgr. Vladana Horáková, MBA, General Director of Aquapalace Prague. Thanks to this, students receive from the lecturers, in addition to theoretical knowledge, also useful tips directly from practice. In addition, students have a sufficient number of internships already during their studies, as the school's partners include institutions such as CzechTourism or the Association of Trade and Tourism of the Czech Republic and others.
The specialization is taught only in the Czech language.

Jana

I too hesitated about choosing a bachelor's degree, but in the end I decided on UCP, which was a great choice. Not only endless theory awaits you here, but above all you will gain unique practice and contacts, which is very beneficial and important for a subsequent career in the field. UCP supported me personally in my passion for wine sommelier and marketing in the field of gastronomy and tourism.

Tereza

UCP gave me a broad perspective. I can work in the hotel industry, but also in gastronomy, tourism or marketing. The hotel industry has always attracted me and now, as a graduate, I have a great chance to apply myself in it. The teachers are people in the right place who have rich experience and try to pass on as much as possible to the students

David

What I liked most at UCP was the connection of professional theory with practice. What we learned in class, we could then try in practice. It is a great preparation for all future hoteliers. I will always remember my studies very fondly, it was a good decision.
