Why study this program?

"I know, from my many years of experience, that quality education, together with experience in the field, is key to student development," says former CzechTourism CEO and program guarantor doc. Monika Palatková. It is for this reason that training takes place with the involvement of experts from practice, hotel managers, people from destination management or professionals from digital marketing. Thanks to the signed cooperation agreements with the main players in the market, such as the Trade and Tourism Association, the Association of Hotels and Restaurants or the Association of Communication Agencies, students will have the opportunity to choose the internship that suits them best.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in several unique projects, such as PR in Practice, Marketing Management Matrix or the Student Advertising Agency. This study program consists of two specializations, from which seven specializations are based.

 The study program is taught only in the Czech language.

I came to UCP from a small town and a small school. Two things were important to me when choosing a college: the access to students and the composition of teachers. So I couldn't end up in a better place than here. I have the opportunity to be Teresa, not a number. Thanks to the school, I also got some interesting internships.


I have already chosen UCP for my bachelor's studies, mainly because of the field of PR, and I liked it so much that I decided to continue my master's studies here as well. The strongest aspect of the school is the individual approach to students.


I appreciate that there are mainly experienced teachers with extensive experience. I also certainly enjoy the various projects we can be involved in, such as the project Embassy or the project Security with General Andor Šándor.

  • What do the individual professional orientations mean? +

    All professional specializations have a similar composition of the subject. However, in the higher subjects, the individual specializations in the offer of compulsory elective subjects differ, thanks to which the students focus on the selected area. For example, students of Digital Marketing take on the operation of online advertising, PPC campaigns and the like in more depth, while students of Marketing and Tourism in Business focus more on hotel and travel agency management, tourism marketing, etc.
