From June 13 to 16, University College Prague (UCP) organized the International Food Marketing Research Symposium 2023 in cooperation with the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague (ČZU).
The conference was organized by Dr. Jiří Zelený, who also held the role of Conference Co-Chair on behalf of UCP. During the conference, a number of leading experts in the field of food marketing from a total of 25 countries worldwide presented the results of their research.
One of the speakers was Professor Klaus G. Grunert, holder of the Cross of the Knight’s Order of the Queen of Denmark. Prof. Grunert is among the top 2% of scientists in the world – he is the 4th most cited scientist in the field of marketing in Europe and the 18th in the world.
UCP also provided conference participants with a closing dinner at Jan Punchochář’s U Matěje restaurant and a guided tour of Prague Castle and the Břevnov Brewery. UCP is planning another scientific conference at the turn of November and December of this year.
