In March, students of the course Entrepreneurship in Hospitality and Gastronomy took a field trip to the 5-star kosher King David Hotel. The guide was the general manager of the hotel and a graduate of our university, Ing. Abdo Shamekh. He introduced the students to the specifics of managing a hotel that is subject to kosher rules and showed them everything from the front office, through the rooms, the kitchen, the hotel restaurant, the bar, to the hotel synagogue. Thank you to the General Manager for the tour conducted in English. It is also worth mentioning that during the tour he communicated with employees and guests in Arabic, Hebrew and Czech.
